My problem at the printer MP 258 there is a message in LCD E03
I do have a variety of ways, from browsing on google and also see the view through the video you tube to find solutions for these problems.
1. E03 is because the sheet feeder so the paper conceded crayons can not enter.

The solution simply remove the crayons, the printer will return to normal.

2. E03 because the cause was unknown.

The solution immediately pressed the power button until the printer is turned off and on again the printer is back to normal.

With a variety of ways over the last printer did not work I am doing mechanical unloading, the process is very tiring, but no results. Apparently the problem is only mild spring for the paper sensor is weak and I fix the spring so strong and my printer finally normal again.

A. Checking for debris or paper scraps
B. Clean the encoder strip
there is still a message " init unable 50", that why?
Before the USB printer is connected to the cpu, lcd printers "100% Normal " I use to copy no problem, but when to print from the cpu is always a message as above.

My printer ip2770 lamp indicator is standby but, when I try to print my job via my pc this printer error 5200 and lamp light blinking continuously green to orange.

Please help me, for resolve permanent my problem?
Alternative for this printer work again (only temporary):

1. Turn off printer, cable power still plug in,
2. Press Resume Button don’t release
3. Press Power Button don’t release and than release Resume Buttons
4. Press Resume Button 6X
5. Turn off printer cable power still plug in
6. Turn on printer again, now this printer ready to use.

NB : when you electric is off or cable power for printer unplug this printer still error again.

The first time you reset canon pixma mp198 printer, I tried to use reset mp145 way, I think the problem could be resolved, it can not, yes it's time to die internet again. So could not the same asked google grandparents.
It turned out that in addition to the manual reset once (who Temporary) must also software reseter mp198.

First time, I found the problem Canon Pixma MP258 printer will not print from the cpu or the Copy Scan and P08 are the error messages on the printer panel. I could maybe try to reset, e turned out to be, then I created to copy directly, it was also error.

I've lost both cartridges, the ink was discharged, directly, I refill the black and a color cartridge. Then I do a test print and the result is smooth and good wow.

If this error P08 does not clear, please

Follow the instructions step by step

1. Turn off printer, cable power still plug in,
2. Press Stop/Reset button don't release
3. Press Power Button don't release and than release Stop/Reset button
4. Press Stop/Reset button 2X and than release Power Button, wait until service mode to " 0 "
5. Turn off printer, cable power still plug in
6. Press Stop/Reset button don't release
7. Press Power Button don't release and than release Stop/Reset button
8. Press Stop/Reset button 4X and than release Power Button, wait until service mode to " 1 "

The Print Carriage is Stuck and Won't Move

Issue

If the printer fails to print, the Power light is blinking, a Mechanism Error is displayed on the computer, or the print cartridge carriage won't move back and forth across the printer, the carriage may be stalled.

Solution
Follow the steps below.

Step one: Check for paper jams

Unplug the printer power cord.
Open the rear access door and remove any paper from the paper path.
Reattach the rear access door and reconnect the power cord. The unit should re-start and move the print carriage to the normal position.
Try printing again. If the carriage still won't move, or makes a grinding noise, continue on to the next step.

Step two: Reset the printer

Unplug the power cord and remove the paper from the paper tray.
Move the carriage all the way to the right, close the lid and reconnect the power cord.
The printer will make some noise as it starts back up. Wait until it stops making noise.
Open the printer lid. The carriage should return to its normal position.
Try printing again.

hello to you guys! thank you very much the code that you have provided for my canon pixma mp150 was really a great help. I save a lot of time and money i don't have to sent my printer back to canon for their "service". its only a matter of people like you with good will to help others out there from all parts of the world. Its really great. to make it simple for others out there this is the instructions i followed:

1) With the printer powered off but connected to a power source, press the Power button while pressing and holding
the Stop/ Reset button.
2) When the Power is lit, press the Stop/Reset button two times while pressing and holding the Power button.
3) When releasing the Power button and the Stop / Reset button (regardless of order), the printer will move into a
service mode. (Waiting for menu selection)
4) When the on/off lights in green, press the Stop/Reset button the specified number of time(s) according to the
function listed in the table below.(Each time the Stop/Reset button is pressed, the LED lights alternately in
orange and green, starting with orange.)note: press 4 times for waste ink counter reset.

Canon GENERIC "S" SERIES RESET CODE

Reset Waste Ink Counter.
(1) Turn off the printer.
(2) Press and hold the RESUME button, then press and hold the POWER button.
(3) Release the RESUME button, Next press and release the RESUME button two (2) more times in succession.
Note:
You are still holding the POWER button. The printer's carriage will "reset" or move momentarily. If the above was properly performed the printer will enter the "Service Mode".
(4) Press the RESUME button 4 times this will select the clear waste ink counter function. The lamp will alternate (change) color with each key press.
1. Service/Factory test printout, including ink sensor check.
2. EEPROM - Info printout.
3. EEPROM - Initialization.
4. Reset the Waste ink counter.
5. Printer model setting. (More selections beyond this point - However it is best leave them unaltered - You have been warned!)
After selecting the desired mode (e g 4), press the POWER button to "set" the change, and return to the top of the function selection menu. Press the POWER button again to restart the printer.

Canon PIXMA iP1000
